Dear Friends,
As you know a huge earthquake of magnitude 7.6 struck Muzaffarabad region of
Pakistan on 8th October. This earthquake is bigger than the Gujarat
earthquake. A large part of Pakistan and Kashmir was badly affected. 800
people in Kashmir are dead and more than 2400 are injured. Pakistan has
suffered a major loss of life - more than 40000 people have died. Indian
and Pakistan governments are working together to speed up releif operations.
Many more people are injured and still buried under the debris.
We are in touch with a number of groups working on basic relief in both
India and Pakistan. There is a lot of urgent help that is needed by these
organizations. At this point, we are collecting funds from all over India
and releif materials at Delhi. Volunteer doctors and medical supplies are
needed to work in Kashmir. Warm clothing, tents and make-shift shelter
arrangements are also needed urgently.
Because of the transportation problems involved - at this stage - we are NOT
collecting releif materials in Chennai, Mumbai, etc. The relief materials
are being collected only at Delhi. Please contact Anuj Grover -

Releif materials will be sent to:
1.Kashmir valley: through the The Servants of the People Society which is
starting relief work in Baramula. Their trucks are leaving from New Delhi on
the 13th. Contact person: Dr Satya Paulji ( 0 98111 12705) or Mani
(011-2642 7650).
2. Pakistan: through the Pakistan-India People's Forum for Peace & Democracy
(PIPFPD) which is collecting releif supplies in Delhi and will be
transporting it to Pakistan.
Apart from releif supplies, we also need a lot of funds. There are several
organizations in both India and Pakistan that we are in touch with who
require financial support for their releif and rehabilitation work. We have
set up a special fund for this purpose in AID-INDIA:
"Indo-Pak Earthquake Releif and Rehabilitation Fund".
We request you to donate generously and also to collect funds from your
friends and colleagues for the Earthquake relief.
All donations can be made by cheques payable to "AID-INDIA" (and marked or
with an attached letter for "Indo-Pak Earthquake Relief"

India offered to work with Pakistan but Pakistan refused India's joint rescue offer. Which is a shame because many thousands more people in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir could be saved if Pakistan agreed to co-operate.
Pakistan doesn't give 2 hoots fro Kashmiris it seems and it has demonstrated this small mindedness to the nth degreee during this disaster. Lets not gloss over this.
Never give donation to AIDIndia who call Muzaffarabad region of Pakistan. And declared Jammu and Kashmir as an independent country. In place of calling it AID India Call it AID -Al-Jihadi-terrorist-Paki.
AID-India is a fraud. Just send your money to the Red Cross.
Kashmir does not exist except as a state of India. Therefore the statement Pakistan and Kashmir is at best inequitous. Do not give this assosiation your money!
AID is an anti-India organization which disguises itself as a welfare organization, while sabotaging Indian interests in every activity it undertakes. Do not support AID, AIDINDIA, AIMINDIA, SULEKHA and other anti-India organizations.
Beware of Communitsts, who puts the welfare of China and Pakistan above India's welfare.
AID India must define it stands for "Association for India's Development" or "Association for India's Disintegration"?
Muzzafarbad is not part of Pakistan, it is part of Kashmir, and Kashmir is part of India.
It is well known that AID India is a communist organization, and like their Christian fundamentalist organizations, hide behind the veneer of "Service".
Cowards!
No organisation that claims Muzafarrabad as Pakistan and seeks help from Indians will get a dime from me.
Kashmir belongs to India and if you dont agree then you belong under the rubble in Balakot.
AID stands for Anti India Dorks.
They are worried about Pakistan than India. they even refuse to admit that Kashmir is in india.
