Organizations accepting donations
Yahoo News' special on the quake points to an excellent resource, courtesy the Network for Good, listing a number of relief organizations accepting donations. The site is set up to accept online donations. The BBC and CNN are also carrying specials on the quake, complete with photos, videos and survivor accounts.

An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.6 has caused massive destruction in South and Central Asia. It is estimated to be the most intense in the region in the last century. Tens of thousands are dead in Pakistan, India and Afghanistan, and many more are injured or trapped in buildings that were reduced to rubble.
Relief efforts are underway for victims in desperate need of emergency supplies such as food, water, blankets and tents. Please make a donation to the relief agencies helping in the rescue operation.
